does anyone know the proceedure to drain and fill the transaxle on the 2010 4 cylinder camry ? i have searched the internet but have yet to come across a straight answer.

"supposedly" it is not so simple as draining and filling.

it is coming up on 30,000 miles and i was thinking of a drain and fill.

of course there is no dipstick.

thanks for the help.

The 6 speeds with no dipstick still have a fill hole above an inspection hole. Fill through the fill hole until it's running out the inspection hole. Unfortunately you have to do this while the engine is running. Hopefully someone has better documentation or pics than me.

Don't drain until you are sure you can get the FILLER plug off.
The older Camrys had a separate drain and fill for the automatic diff on the 4 cyl. It was (and is) a hard thing to deal with without a lift. Too many folks ended up rounding off the fill plug.
