2010 Silverado 1500 Rear Diff Fuid (No G80 Locker)

I'm getting ready to change my rear diff fluid. New to me truck , it does not have the G80 locker. So , I'm guessing open diff 3.42 ?
Is Mobil 1 LS 75w90 ok ? I didn't realize the Mobil 1 fluid was the LS version when I bought it. Or should I take it back for something that doesn't contain additive ?

having or not having the additive makes no difference unless you actually have the LS diff.

so you are fine with that gear oil

The only time LS additive is a problem is if you have an electrical or mechanical governor locker where the LS additive may cause the clutches to slip in an unintended way, on an open diff it won't make any difference.
