IMHO the 05-09 did a good job w/ the retro theming, but the '10 is further toward "retro-future" styling like the new Camaro. I don't know if the video shows it but the new one also has a really annoying rear blinker where the signal moves outward from the inner bulb to the outer one (I don't know if that description makes any sense).

The new style will probably grow on me but this might tempt me to try to get a real good deal on an '09 later in the year. Unfortunately, I'm likely too practical to trade in my Civic on one.

Sequential signals are something guys have been doing to their cars for years. Ford has just finally put them in from the factory. Most of us like them

+1 The three bulbs going off one by one in a row inside to out is done alot to mustangs with aftermarket parts.

Ford sees the trends and reacts to them.
Props to Ford!

In that case seems like a good idea for them. I just figure they'd be distracted and frankly I'm surprised it's legal with all the lighting regulations on the books.

Must just not be very popular around here; I've never seen sequential signals on a Mustang or any other car, I don't think.

I have an 08 GT with the 3.55 axle, manual trans. Love the car. Looks like all sheet metal on the 2010 is tweaked except the roof skin. I like it all, but not sure about the tail light shape. I especially like the droop in the rear quarter line right behind the doors. Looks like they took some styling que's from other classic mustangs (i.e. front turn signals look like a '70). Overall I think Ford did a good job on it. They could have done a heck of a lot worse.
