What's up with this item? Purolator, on their website, has the part listed A26119 but listed as "not available." I even check out advance autoparts and the only thing they have for that engine is the K&N filter for around 50 bucks...yeah, right. I even went to Fram, and they don't even have that filter listed. Does anybody know where I can get, or cross-reference another filter? I would like to assume that the 09 CRV filter would fit, but I know the EX-L has a different engine for production run 2010. Need to change it, wife already has 37K, (that's no typo-37K!!!) on the that car and it needs some love.

Are you sure the filter needs changing? (Seriously, is it clogged?)

All else, the Honda dealer probably has it, and probably for a surprisingly reasonable price.

If it is a flat panel filter you can tap it lightly on soft surface to rid of sand and dust, also vacuum the air box then reinstall the air filter. Or call few Honda dealers around to see which one has the lowest price.

I order all my supplies from HandA online. When I do the yearly maintenance on my car. Their shipping is high but when you get everything at the same time it is actually cheaper than buying from a Honda Garage.
I usually get the engine air filter, cabin filters, 3qts ATF Z-1, 2 qts of DPF-II and the crush washers for transmission and differential.

The air filter from them is $19.79. http://www.handa-accessories.com/crvmaint07.html

I change mine every 15,000 miles because of the dusty conditions I live in.

I did the shop vac method at about 15K, but with this many miles on it, I'd figure it's time to change. It's been really dusty here these past two months as we are under a sever drought. But, I may have to do that. I just can't seem to pay those ridicious Honda prices for everyday wear items.

May have to. Took the filter off last night and it was pretty nasty. Blew off what I could with the air compressor, but it's still dirty. Thanks.

THANKS....I've heard of them, but I just looked them up. They have EVERYTHING!!! Learned the trick to save a coin or two, order all parts from the same place if you can....had to switch to a Wix oil filter from my regular Purolators, but I know they are good filters and I have no problem with that!

Don't forget the Cabin Air Filter.

Ordered those also from rockauto, still cheaper than advance or anybody else in the area, plus it's delivered to the house.

Holy Cow, Batman......that order was at my house by Saturday. Wow. Was totally impressed.....3 days? Everything was what it should have been. Definently will be using these guys again!!!!

ya they are fast, even shipping to Canada.

If you wanted to stick with Purolator filters you could have chosen the Bosch Premium 3323. I use both Wix and Bosch.
