Thanks for vindication. I will journey through this interesting test results. Post them, move forward from there.Anyone who puts themselves in your shoes with that much driving would be able to recognize the optimization potential going over to Amsoil Signature Series.
This isn’t rocket science. M1 EP might be fine for the 10k mile interval, but your goal is 15k-20k and SS is proven to have more headroom and repeatability. M1 EP is solid OTS and might be up to the task, but we’re talking risk aversion the further an interval gets extended out.
That’s like saying no one should buy HPL because M1 EP is capable. Ok, isn’t your money though and (for now) oil is still cheap. Whats the harm increasing the headroom with how much driving is being done? I’d hate to change my oil more than necessary racking up the mileage you do.
Easy boutique candidate. Just validate the results with testing and adjust things later.
