I currently drive a 2009 Ford Fusion with a 3.0L v6 for my company car. I was planning on buying it for the wife when they present me with the offer, sometime around 120K miles (I drive about 7K miles a month, so it shouldn't be too long). I have to take it to be serviced by fleet vendors (Jiffy Lube, Valvoline, Midas, etc.) at 6K intervals. Is that too long of an OCI for 90% highway miles on conventional oil?

No, just keep an eye on the oil level and it will be fine. 6K all mostly highway is easy on dino.

Ford recommends 7500 miles for normal service on the 2008+ newer gasoline vehicles.
6,000 miles is a fairly short interval for your type of service.
This is off-topic, but what are your service intervals for the other items like tire rotations, cabin air filters, engine air filters, etc.

If it's the V6, it has the 6-speed Aisin Auto. That should not need a flush until 60k at the minimum.

according to genuineservice.com for normal service 150k is the interval on the trans.
According to the computer, I'm getting 26.9 mpg
I'm glad to know that 6K will be fine. I've never owned a vehicle newer than 1995, so I'm used to more frequent OCIs. I wish I could do the maintenance myself, but my employer won't allow it. As far as air filters, since I'm not paying for it I always encourage upselling at the shop, so I would say about 12K intervals.
That shouldn't be too long on any decent 5w20 + filter (assuming they actually put 5w20 in). They should let you take it to a Ford dealer -- for them to dump MC in. I could never trust those "other places".
