My Girlfriend has this Tahoe. She is not a hard driver. Overall the Tahoe is in pretty good shape for 213,000 miles.

Has anyone bought new rotors that were warped out of the box? Last night I installed a set of Powerstop rotors and pads. The kit is advertised as performing like OE.

The braking feel is improved but there is still pulsation. Are there other causes for this? I’ve done countless brake jobs and rotors have always fixed this. Thanks for any feedback.

Seems really unlikely they came out of the box warped. Did you use anti seize behind the rotors? Any chance they didn't seat flush on the hub?.

It is very possible you are getting pulsing from the rear rotors too. I had a similar experience with a 2010 Yukon. Replacing the front rotors mostly cured the pulsing but I had to replace the rears too in order to totally get rid of the pulses. This was even though I had just rebuilt the rears only a year prior.
