Hello all - We've recently purchased a 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan, 3.3 l, and I'm changing out all the fluids.
The OM calls Mopar Antifreeze/Coolant 5-year/100,000 Mile Formula HOAT or equivalent. @slacktide_bitog recommended Zerex G-05 or equivalent, but I'm having trouble finding it locally. It's available through Walmart.ca, but with a huge shipping fee.
I'm leaning toward the OEM brand of coolants, because they're readily available at Canadian Tire and PartSource.
Here's OEM's online coolant selector tool:
https://oemantifreeze.ca/easymatch-oem/
Plug in a 2007 DGC, and up comes the recommendation of their Orange II.
https://oemantifreeze.ca/oem-orange-ii/
I'm trusting this is a good HOAT coolant; it says it meets the Chrysler MS7170 and MS9769 specs.
Thoughts from the BITOG coolant experts?
Thanks in advance!
