I might be buying this vehicle. It’s very clean in mostly good condition and I’m getting a great deal. A few problems include a weird one - it has manual climate control and they work opposite of how it should. Hot is cold and cold is hot.

What could this be and is it easy/cheap to fix? The AC and heater both work great it’s just the sliders work opposite.

I know nothing specific about the vehicle, but that seems odd. Somebody been in there recently? Reverse the controls behind the dash?? I've seen odder....

I think I've seen this when the temp actuator connectors are crossed....If the dash has been out, Likely the reason.

If that's the only fly on a '07 Trailblazer.....I'd be shocked!!!!

Interesting, if it’s too much trouble I’ll just ignore it. I think there is some sort of relearn procedure, should I try it?

I have owned an Envoy before. Familiar with the platform. I think they’re great! What issues do you commonly see?

Did a A/C compressor on a 5.3L Trailblazer once & it made me rethink my carrier path.

Do reliable Trailblazer/Envoy's exist...Sure they do, Is that the exception or the rule?

Yeah, working on the 4.2 is already a pain, I can’t imagine an even bigger engine stuffed in there. I think the weirdest thing on these is the front driveshaft through the engine oil pan - weird!

My first thought. If it's cables, I'd say the cables were put on the wrong levers. Essentially, your blend door is operating in reverse, whether the controls are mechanical or electrical. Shouldn't be a huge deal. Or you could just live with it (if you don't feel like pulling it apart), shouldn't cause any real issues other than confusing people that may borrow it or be riding in the pass seat. Lol
