Hi, was wondering what is a suitable replacement for the 12v AGM Panasonic auxiliary battery in this car. Does it have to be a valve regulated AGM battery as the OEM Panasonic one is? Was looking at the Optima Yellow top, but not sure if these are valve regulated AGM. Will be changing a friend’s car battery this weekend. Car is 2007 Camry Hybrid with 230k and generally in very good shape. The electric drive battery has been replaced once. Appreciate the BITOG knowledge as always.

It needs to be a AGM/EFB with provisions for a vent tube. I’ve heard of Optimas being used on the Lexus LS600hL which uses the same 24F VRLA battery, but the temp sensor was reused and taped to the battery case.
