2007 AUDI A4 Avant 6- Speed Manual

Very nice find! I’ve been tempted by a couple of CPO Audis over the years but the l always get a weird vibe from my local dealer. Nothing dishonest, just odd.
Interesting..I’m also in KY (north central) I haven’t been to the Audi store in Louisville since I had a gen 1 TT years ago. They were sure proud of their parts! I wised up and stared buying most of what I could maintenance wise at the VW store.

Had great luck with Bachman VW in Louisville…

That's good to know about Bachman. Thanks!

Nice ride that seems to have had good maintenance throughout its life and has had all of the important things done with documented history.
The stick makes it a rare and desirable find.
Ignore the naysayers and enjoy this properly kept Audi. As with any German car, proper maintenance yields good longevity and reliability. Can't neglect them like you can a Honda or Toyota.

It is in spectacular mechanical condition. I went through and inspected it this morning. It will need the lower motor mount, the fluid filled ones actually seem good still. Suspension and bushings are all tight for the age. No leaks of any kind which I was suprised by.

I did replace the HPFP follower today. The one I removed had the coating worn, but was completely smooth. It was an easy 15 minute job.

Dumped the 1.5 year old and 5200 mile dealer oil and refilled with Mobil 1 Euro 5w40 and filter.

Time to go drive it 👍

I went Ahead and ordered a Timing Belt and Water pump kit form ECS Tuning and replaced the timing belt, water pump, idlers, And tensioners as well as the serpentine belt.

Job wasn’t too bad. It took me about 4 hours of work time in a garage without a Lift. I did a few extra steps past the service position so I could replace the lower snub motor mount as well.

I feel better about driving it knowing the belt is replaced again, and water pump is new. It had the OEM water pump on it that is 19 years old and had 99k miles on it.
