Saaber, thanks for the detailed reply. Yeah, what you are saying makes sense. I was hoping they'd pick up the cost but it's probably safer for me to drop the $50 and the 20 minutes to do it myself.

And you may not even need one for a long time if you are changing oil at 3k. I have seen several at over 60k or so that looked just fine.

That's what I'm hoping for. But I do want to take it out at 30K because I think it provides a good test for the oil and change interval. If it is still worn even with such heavy maintenance, then this is truly a messed up design.

The fuel pump on mine is the old banjo style and is a [censored] to get off. Cam follower was inspected after the Dyson analysis and was fine as well as the cam. I will be running a few more runs on it to see how it goes keeping it around 5k mark. I will be sending a sample after 2-3k to both [censored] and Terry.

Oh yeah, idk if this matter at all but this is the first time the oil sample was taken during oil draining, mid drain. I waited a few seconds then filled the oil sample bottle. All the other UOA samples were taken via suction method and do not know if the hose was too long, may have been.
