2006 Mazda 3 any good ?

I found Mazda 3 in good condition with less than 64000 miles, year is 2006, is the standard version, manual windows, anyway, is the Mazda 3 and ok car ?

If it's rust-free, go for it. They're awesome little runabouts, especially with a manual transmission.

Pretty good although rust can be an issue with them. The hood looks ajar in the pics. I wonder how long they've owned it? Price seems a little high. I wonder if they're flipping it. What happened to the Fusion you bought recently?

I'd rather have one with the 2.3 engine and a manual. Plus they usually come with a bunch of other nice options. Bigger wheels, sunroof etc...

Pretty reliable from what I know. I think they have a minor issue with motor mounts cracking but otherwise very solid. They rust like anything else will around Salt if both taken care of

Several used Mazda 3's in my family have been good cars. One in Arizona needed new motor mounts. I like the way Mazda's handle and am driving several older Protege's with over 200,000 miles. Good Luck.

I went to see the car, it drives fine, it has a crack in the middle of the top of the dashboard, he is still making payments to the bank, I offer $4000, well see what happen, what is the gas mileage on the freeway for that car ?

the car is the 2.0 engine

I had the 2.3 duratec in my old 05 Focus, which returned only 29 on thehighway. The 2.0 should do better .

I had a Mazda6 with the same Duratec 2.3L. It was consistently returning 31 mpg @70-75mph. It was a 5-speed manual. The best thing? 20+ gallon tank. Over 600 miles on one tank! Loved it

Gummint testing shows 32hwy. I know a guy that swears by Mazda, had one that lasted forever until someone Tboned him.

My has been very good for the 144k I've had it. If there is no rust, these are excellent little cars.

In addition, this Mazda3 in my signature has > 141K miles on her. It sees lots of daily useage as it's also used on the job for local travel.

Between 4-5 I think
