2005 Corolla with 252K for $6K?

Interesting a new car dealer would sell it. There is definitely a place in market for these kinds of cars for poor people with poor credit and a dealer who can finance it.

There is NO shortage of used CARS that have had two owners where I live. It seems like they sit around on independent used lots for awhile if anything.

No one wants cars anymore. People want CUV's, SUV's and Trucks. The herd is spreading misinformation.

iirc, you paid $3K for your sister's Corolla ... and I said:
"Good car and very good price!
$5K is more like it."

you should've told your sister that the very respected, well-known and smart OilUzer says you got a VERY good deal and he also says stay away from thin oil. 🤣

$6K for this car is stupid. :alien:

btw, used car prices are falling or have started to plateau and fall ...

Wait to buy a car if you can.

Yep, it is getting real crazy. I have a feeling it going to get worse before it gets better than it will probably crash.
OTR truck market is the same way only there’s not a supply of “old” trucks on the market due to Elog rules. Pre-99 trucks are few and bring exceptional money when they show up for sale. The used trailer market is on fire too, they are bringing 2-3 times what they did a couple years ago.

I wonder how many are paying over the top for a beater just to get rid of a gas guzzler with todays gas prices. Might still be a smart thing to do, a more recent truck also fetches crazy money and a Corolla like that would run for less per mile.
