I just purchased a 2004 Z (auto)with 41K miles on the clock. Completely stock, no mods. I changed the oil using Pennzoil Ultra 5w30 and P1 filter. Runs like a champ. All other fluids, including transmission fluid look good and clean. Should I still change out, especially the transmission fluid. Also the plugs are OE but are 7 years old. Should they be replaced? Any help is appreciated.

Anytime I purchase a used vehicle, I change all the fluids just because. You never really know, and it's not a lot of time or money to get everything up to date where you know what is going on.

Change all the fluids as posted by others.
Nissan recommends the line of exchange in their factor service manuals.
Amsoil ATF and gear oils works very well in these units this is one of the cars i highly recommend using them in, they shift flawlessly with it.

Why? If they aren't showing signs of wear, i wouldn't change a thing. squeeze as much life outta them as possible.

Thanks to all for your input. Special thanks to towncivilian for the FSM link!
