2003 Mazda6s 3.0 V6, 5w-30 Mobil1

Yes I know...its ANOTHER Mazda6 UOA. Man...doesn't take much to get car ethusiasts addicted to these oil analysis thingy's

So to throw any "?" into the mix...here's another 5w-30 UOA, but this one's hella better then the last one. I'm assuming this one has primarily highway miles on it.

Awesome! Looks like the 5W30 gets the job done as well! Everything is within tha same ranges as all those 0W20 and 5W20 UOAs with Synth! Waiting for the experts' opinions

I wish more people would post analyses for their 6i's - is mine the only one for a 4-cylinder engine yet?

. What I don't understand is why Scott's 5w-30 UOA was so horrible compared to his 0w-20...I'm trying to see if Kristoff will run 0w-20 for his next UOA.

Nice report. Look for the silicon and copper to go down. You could easily go with the 10W-30 Mobil 1 in Maryland alll year round-but the difference might be nil. Nice .2% insolubles.
