That fine, you didn't buy the car, LOL!

Different strokes fellows. Different strokes.

Personally, I think the colour scheme is beautiful. Pics with the Canon instead of my Blackberry would probably have shown it a bit better.

I didn't mean to sound rude... I just don't like the interior color. The exterior looks pretty nice though!

Welll. You did use "*****." I wouldve taken it the same way.

nice, but your wheel is on the wrong side.

There are more vacation pictures posted in my other threads. These were the only two I snapped of the car after washing off 1500+Km of crud, LOL!

Was doing a Google search and came across these pics I recognized. Just wanted to reiterate my jealousy, congratulations and how much I love these cars....

Very nice and I'm sure you're still enjoying it!!

I'm certainly enjoying it!

Doing the exhaust hanger rubbers this week, as they are a bit collapsed and the section just after the H-pipe is rattling on the rear brace mount. They are only $20.00 and a pair of 13mm bolts, so no big deal.

I've put a bit over 20,000Km on it now

Nice, those darn Bimmers and their expensive repairs...

What kind of mileage does it turn in? Do you ever get a tank of cruising or is there play involved in every tank? I always wondered if I could just drive a car like that and not be too hard on the throtle just cause it's so much fun.

Play on every tank, LOL! But even 100% city on this most recent tank, and beating on it, I've still put 311Km's on it and have 1/4 tank left. It really isn't bad on fuel.

Haha, kinda thought that might be the answer!

I don't know if that makes it into the "not bad" catagory in my book but then I've never had the pleasure to drive one either. Way more car than I'm used to but not way more fuel, so ya maybe not too bad. 3/4 of tank would be about 45L? And I know my cars get way worse mileage as my foot gets heavier.

Cool man. Still happy for you and love the LeMans Blue!!

Don'tcha think some of these guys could use a ride?

Yeah, LOL! IndyIan is about the only guy who's really close. He's seen it, but we never went for a rip. Probably should have in retrospect, as we haven't had a chance to hang out again.

Rand was up here recently and we were supposed to meet up for beers but didn't end up coordinating it. Maybe next year.

That's my parent's driveway actually, LOL! Mine is asphalt and weed free!

I guess we had to have a beer first to make sure that neither of us was some sort of nut? Then of course, after a pint isn't the greatest time to go for a rip either!
Next time I guess, I don't think you are going to sell the beast anytime soon?

I'm on parental leave now so in theory I should have lots of time, but the Dad/hobby farmer/home builder job seems to be more full-time than my regular job...
I'll talk to the boss here and see what works for next week if you are around? I'll PM you. It would be neat to see how BMW makes Viper power and torque with half the displacement.

Yeah, shoot me a PM for sure
smile.gif
I'll have the bushings in this week, but likely not the clutch (shame on me!) or remaining 3x CPS's which need to be replaced due to the "Jekyll and Hyde" syndrom she's currently sporting. Right now it is a bit 400HP sometimes, 300HP (or thereabouts) others, LOL
grin.gif
Still lots of fun, but 100HP difference in power output that comes and goes (and sometimes suddenly.....) may do her a bit of a disservice in a Viper comparo, lol
smile.gif

what? "only" 400hp in that beast?? Are we talking about that number to the rear wheels or at the crank?

seriously, today 300hp means run of the mill grocery getter; OK those are fighting words but you gave me the opening :-)
