Looks like that 3M kit does a great job.

I just got done cleaning up the headlights on our Saturn. I just used PlastX and a paper towel. Here's a before and after, didn't make them look brand new but definitely a huge difference.

I almost bought the 3M kit but I opted for the Turtle Wax Headlight Restoration kit. For $8 I couldn't be happier.
