My friend bought this 911 this summer. Didn't see any used oil analysis on the newer Turbos. So here is my contribution. Dealer maintained, probably with Mobil 1 0w-40. Refilled engine with the same shear happy oil. Blackstone said try 5k next time. Any comments welcome.

My guess is also M1 and that this oil has been in use for approximately 4,000 miles.

Porsche uses 0w40 but I would think GC 0w30 would be a better oil in this application or a 5w40.

We'll see what happens this OCI,(Mobil 1 0w40). Trying to get him to use either Lubro Moly 5w/40 or Pentosynth 5w/40. Original oil from the FatherLand.

Is the copper normal for this engine?

How could blackstone give the recommendation to run to 5k when you don't know how long it was in there?

Blackstone said to try a 5k OCI, then check back. As for the high copper it is normal for these engines to take 25k or more miles to break-in and wear metal to reduce. Porsche recommends 15k OCI and 30k filter changes.
