2.3 L accord. 163 k miles. Runs like new. Keeps tripping front oxygen sensor code. I replaced with aftermarket oxygen sensor but code persisted. I cleaned the original sensor with pb blaster and lighter fluid and put it back in. Have driven 65 miles and no code so far. I also replaced the plugs and made sure wires are tight. Car runs fantastic and always has.

Catalytic converter ( had rusted out and sounded like a rock rattling in a can) and downstream sensors were replaced with aftermarket products about 1 year ago and are doing fine.

As Subject line indicates I have a scanguage though I have only used it on this vehicle since the front sensor code surfaced. I notice the FIA temperature runs much higher on this accord than my other hondas(on my other hondas it generally runs ~30degrees over ambient temperature.. I have seen the FIA run up to 185(highway speeds no a/c) which is off the charts compared to my 3 other honda vehicles. I am wondering if I have an EGR valve or air/fuel sensor issue?

Disclaimer:I know a little about cars, but not alot, so be gentle with me.

Have you done a valve adjustment yet? They run forever but need the adjustments for some reason or the car goes nuts and throws all sorts of codes. There are some videos on youtube on how to do them on a 4 cylinder- its much easier than the v6 model.
