20% LC and 80% Oil

Oh I forgot... My dad bought Micro Lube from a sales man that visited his shops.

These cans of Micro Lube were stored in a barn for almost 30 years before I acquired them. They are in decent shape but the lids have surface rust on them and a little surface rust were the can may have had a little scratch. You can still read every word on them (even the stock #) so their not that bad and the rust on the lids can probably be cleaned up. The bottom are rust free. One can has a small dent near the top of it. These are the blue and gold cans. Dad said they also sold a red can but I never seen any of that.

I'll go take a couple pictures. Whoever wants them PM me your email. Hopefully one of you can post them for me.

Its still good!!! Just add 1oz to every 5 gallons of gas.

Ooops! Made and error. I was thinking about Fuel Power. Micro Lube is Lube Control. You should add 1oz per quart of oil and then 3oz every 1,000 miles. Sorry for the error.

I just ran an OCI with BC cut 12.3% with RedLine 5wt racing oil. I have both virgin and used oil in Blackstone bottles, but I haven't mailed them yet. I intend to get them in the mail on Monday. If you can wait on me and then on Blackstone, you may have data on another strategy to reduce the viscosity of an otherwise good/great oil.

LCD, do you have any other colors of Micro Lube besides the purple cans? My dad said there was another can that was red were the purple is on these cans. He said they also had a aerosol product called Micro Mist which were all marketed in the same time period. He said if memory serves him the color difference was for a thicker weight. Red according to him was the thicker stuff.

No, Odis only had the purple and blue cans and only a couple of those. We are very interested in collecting all types.

Visometrics: looks a little thinner, and takes on a dark color due to the blue dye in RedLine 5wt Racing oil.

Viscometrics:
Belgium Castrol (5W40) 14.3 cSt@100C and 81 cSt@40C
RedLine 5wt Racing oil 4.6 cSt@100C and 21.8 cSt@40C
