Fram has seen better days. Filter is around 5 years old. Came of a 75 Chrysler Newport 400 big block. No tears though.
Protec came of my mom's saturn sl2. Looks good however the adbv seems rather stiff. Says Parker on it.

Haven't seen a Fram that ugly for a while. They all used to look like that!

Oil on the Fram looks pretty black. Was it in the engine for 5 years too?

Yes it was. Car was sitting cause the owner suffered a heart attack. Now I got to drain a 26 gallon tank of bad fuel completely full.

Looks like the PH16 of the bad old Fram days! They’ve improved since then, some short OCIs will be in order once you get that one running.

Got some valvoline 10w40 in her at the moment with a Purolator pureone filter.
