I been using Napa Golds on my girlfriends Saturn Ion. I can pick them up for about $4.19 a piece. I can pick up the Proselect for $3.29. Do you think there is big diference in the two? The Napa Golds are made in South Korea. I would assume the Proselects are from there also. Wix contracts these cartridge filters out.

I had a 03 Saab 9-3 2.0T Ecotec. I use to buy the filters at the local Chevy dealer. They were about $5.00 cheaper, and they were the Purflux ones from France. Then they switched over to a company in South Korea, same as Wix probably. Then I use to buy the "Made in Germany" Hengst filters from the Saturn dealer.

I traded in my Saab in 05. All the GM, Saturn, Saab dealers probably stock the same "Made in South Korea" filters now.

I would go with the Mobil 1 M1C-151. Mobil 1 just started getting some cartridge style filters available and long engine life, these filters are the only way to go. You might have trouble finding them in stores right this instant, but they are coming.
