With very short service intervals I'd agree with you. I'm better those clean engines running dino have had 3k-5k changes.

I had two Passat VR6 and Redline 10W-40 at 8K OCI worked very well for me.

Based on my experience, I agree with the advice to run ARX and then 0W-40 or 5W-40 synthetic.

I'd use Redline 5W-40, Mobil 1 0W-40, Delvac 1 5W-40, Amsoil European Formula 5W-40, perhaps GC 0w30 or Castrol Syntec European Formula 5W-40.

Just up early to watch the German F1 qualifying.

While F1 is still a bit boring, the driver's championship fight between Alonso and Schumi is heating up.
