No, 20w20 performs as a 20 grade when it's cold, but also when it's hot. Straight 20 grade performs as a 20 grade all the time.

Agree. I believe Valvoline MaxLife (Syn-Blend) 10W-40 would be the oil to try next, especially during the spring to fall time frame.
