newest old addition to the fleet. not sure what ill use it for yet but nevertheless its a nice piece.

8 speed road ranger
cummins c-160 ? not sure as of the model yet

Nice! What does the engine placard say? I’m wondering if the engine was rattle canned the Cat color. :unsure:
thats how she was made. this unit is all original. not sure as to why the color is what it is. i cant reach the placard atm its way in there
 
Solid looking body. Looks like galvanized where the paint has worn off.
A nice project and the upper cylinder head does look really clean other than being dyed diesel black, just like the oil is after not too many miles.
 
Reminds me of the truck from the movie Duel, even though that's a Peterbuilt, they look very similar.
 
I only see 5 digits in the odometer picture. What's the 6th digit? Love to see this old iron getting pulled out.
 
Possibly An R170.... Wonder if the truck was originally a mixer? Not too many folks would try to pull much with a 160..Most would have opted for a 220 at least
used to have a box or cube on the back and was a delivery truck. i plan to retain the fifth wheel plate and add a small steel deck between that and the cab.
