They tested the results again. The additives changed, but they said the wear results are nearly the same. Makes you wonder if you can trust their results if you have to have the sample retested.

Yeah now additive is nearly as X-Cess (calcium little low) and wear well... check other similar engines.

There was a time when almost everyone used Blackstone and this would happen sometimes. People started talking smack on BS's "poor accuracy" and said to use other oil analysis companies. I predicted back then that the more people started using other labs, the more we'd see these types of mistakes from the other labs. But because BS was used so often, it made it appear as if they messed up all the time and the other labs never messed up.

Granted, I no longer use BS for other reasons, so I'm not a fanboy or defending them.
