OLM was at 7% life left.

Oil: Havoline PRO DS 5w30 Eco Box
Filter: K&N HP 7027
Make up oil: 0
Miles on oil: 7,000
Miles on Engine: 27,000
3.6L Gasoline V6

Your Canyon is starting things off on the right foot. Universal averages for this type of engine show
typical wear after about 6,600 miles on the oil. That's about how long this oil was in place, so it's nice to see
wear metals matching up this well. That suggests all is well with internal parts, and if any issues are in the
works, we don't see the evidence in these numbers. The viscosity is the only thing out of spec, reading just
slightly low for 5W/30 oil. It wasn't thinned by fuel and internal parts didn't mind at all. The TBN is good at
2.0. Try up to 10,000 miles next.

I think your viscosity numbers are backwards, otherwise looks good.

Going to 10k miles would put it past 0% on the OLM. Something I wouldn't do on a vehicle in warranty. Looks like you're at a sweet spot at 7k oci.

Thanks for posting, its one of the trucks/motors I am looking at now.

And I agree with Danno. Stick to the OLM till out of warranty. After that then adjust as you see fit.

I can see this oil wouldn't make it until 10k, maybe some other oil would. I'm not big into trying to have the longest OCI, so as long as it's doing well for 7k I'm OK with that, especially when it's $20 for 6 quarts.

So far a nice truck. Perfect size, so many trucks now are HUGE, my wife doesn't need anything bigger.

Just change it at 0 or before
The oil is thinning so why push it longer where it thins out more
Oil is cheap compaired to your truck.
