17 k on k&n oil filter

I have a k&n oil filter that was in use for 17k on an 97 ford crown vic.


Does any one want to open it up and check how it held up? will mail to u as long as u post results

lmao well that would be a problem if i was,

I would if i was at home in mississippi, but im in texas now living in an apt with no garage, dont want to deal with the clean up

I was only kidding. The dirty part would be to remove the filter. Make sure you get most of the oil out of the old filter. Grab a hack saw or something to cut the filter with, take some photos and post them up. Unless you engine is already dirty you'll see something.

ok, im give it a shot this weekend, well next weekend. girldfriend will kill me if i mess with a oil filter on her valentine weekend. lol
