No such thing as glow plugs on a Cummins. I believe what you're talking about are the fuel injectors, this isn't a distributor pump type engine. See this cutaway:

my idea is that good oil AND the engine runs as hot as it can. the pcv system is working right. if the pvc is right the moisture will be very low, acid will be low if the moisture is low. just my idea.
