1500 HP Chevy, guest what oil filter he using

I was at car get together over the weekent, this chevy with 1500 hp pull up, every one was going over, Im the only one ask him, what oil and filter, transmission and rear diff and spark plug he using hehee,

Oil, transmission and rear diff is all Mobil 1 ( good choice )
Spark plug is E3 with nitrous spray ( [censored], I know this plug do nothing at all )
Oil filter is AC Delco, he say the cheap one at walmart, dint ac delco at walmart is all Ecore now ? I dint beleive him and look under his car, sure enought it AC delco pf54 or pf 454 something like that. I was thinking if that Ac Delco encore filter can handle this 1500 hp, it can handle any car on the road then. Now it made me give a ac delco a second try.

I ask him now often he change the oil and filter, he say after few pass at drag strip. and transmission and rear diff he only change it when it break or rebuild, or gear change. Spark plug never need to be regap or change, just pull out after few pass and put it back on.

So if an oil filter can handle a few passes at the drag strip, then that means there's no way it can't handle 5-10k+ miles of driving?

I'm not sure that you're taking the right angle.
Two completely different types of uses for a filter, with two completely different levels of intensity.

Neither of those filters are particularly large.
If he races, he also likely rebuilds every so often; so engine life isn't a major concern for him.

I'd go oversize for sure.

Farraris for many years used Fram orange filters.
Some of those engines are pretty intense.

I use to use nothing but ac delco, when ever I own a Chevy. But since they change to the plastic cage inside the filter from metal type, Made me second though about it.

I would not run an Ecore on any engine with a high oil volume oil pump. Too much flow could blow out the media since the center cage has very large open windows in it. Seen a few threads on this site showing photos of media blow-outs on Ecores.

Te might, but it won't blow the filter off. Probably has a larger oil pan to help keep the oil cool.,,

NAPA contingency money or sponsership. that is what most parts use or decals are.

1500 HP without an oil pump to match isn't gonna keep that engine alive very long.
