Nothing much to see!

Looks great, I've always had good luck with the Honda filters and use them on my family's Hondas/Acuras when I can. I usually can find decent deals on these on ebay from dealers.

Looks decent.

One thing that did come out from the First Brands bankruptcy was that while FRAM made these, Honda seemed to own the tooling and they were made on a dedicated line.
..... and that 'tooling" and "line" thought would also align with the made for Honda A02 and its media being 'significantly' different in efficiency (lower) than the Fram fiber endcap (PH/TG) filter offerings. That confirmed to me by Fram filter engineer over a decade ago. Fwiw, I change the filter each time and nothing to do with peace of mind. Generally, being under the vehicle to get the drain plug, getting the filter while there not much more effort.

Filter looks fine, thanks for c&p.

With Honda filters being so affordable, I don’t see the benefit of running them for multiple oil changes.

This is always an interesting subject.

Some people throw away tires with plenty of tread left, others throw away windshield wipers before they streak, lots of people buy and run 20K mile filters, and 10K mile oil or greater formulations then throw them away at 5K.

If I saw evidence of large amounts of debris Id probably pitch them every time as well, but in a clean engine where you can find nothing in the pleats tossing it out before you need to becomes assured waste.

I don’t mind the 14k for the hybrid. But 28k to me is a bit much, so I just change it each time.

That’s how I do it too. Like $6-7.

The odyssey that only goes 5k or so per oci per the computer gets a fancier Fram (now who knows) and two OCIs always with matched oil.

SD's Accord manual says change the filter every other oil change. I change every OCI, but Honda says the filter is good for 2. If you can't sleep, change it every OCI.
lol for the hybrid given the distances I can’t either.

I change mine every OCD.

Isn't the common wisdom that the filter can easily handle the dirt it'll see over both OCIs and that the filtering improves during OCI#1?
Oil filters don't become more efficient with use. That's been discussed a lot in this forum.

The reason low efficiency oil filters can go for longer OCIs is because it takes more run time to load them up because they are letting a lot of debris through the media and shed a lot of the debris that's already been captured.

Since it's a hybrid, out of the 14K miles on the oil change how many of those miles do you think were with the engine actually running?
Most, probably 95% or higher.

I do a lot of highway driving. Even without that, the mikes engine off are usually just braking or short spurts of flat land. The battery doesn’t get you far but in the best of conditions, as it isn’t a phev.
