14 year old transmission fluid

i have some unopened 14 year old transmission fluid for my 04 tundra .I have it marked bought in 2010 it is toyota type VI fluid .It is unopened ,is it good to use ,? has been left in unheated uncooled garage , or just use to top off?or throw away ?I have about 3-4 quarts of it i bought new in 2010

Its fine to use. That is also perfect to to mix with diesel and stain some wood.

but i change my tranny fluid every 30,000 miles and have done so since tis truck was new

You are the rare exception these days. You must have missed the salesman talk about the maintenance-free sealed for life transmission the car has.

Well said. I totally follow the lifetime fluid schedule of 30K or less.

I would say it's much better than unchanged fluid that's 14 years old.
