Doing a 1500 mile clean and 2000 miles rinse on my Town Car. I am only into the clean currently, and noticed no deposit reduction, even in the high flow area's. Is it normal until the rise phase is completed?

Have you been tracking your gas mileage? Before/after compression tests?
On my vic I gained CRAZY mileage. Previous best was 22.1 and now the best is 23.6. My average highway is now about 21...previously it was 19 or so.

It has been said on here that the clean phase is when the esters slowly dissolved the debris, and the rinse phase washes it off the metal parts, due to the new oil's detergency.
Did you do a compression test before Arx?
If I could do things over again, I would have done a few compression tests.

I wasn't planning ahead. Had I known I would be spending this much time convincing people to use a product I don't sell I would have.
But like I said, cosmetic appearances do not a good running engine make. Heck, my aspire has had three full auto-rx cleanings over the years and the valve train area still looks horrible. However, it runs much better now.

Valve train area only splash fed hence little cleaning. Pressure fed areas get the real deal.
Mine has gotten worse, just ride it out. See what happens at the end.

From what I gather it was a bad casting or something. And then it didn't take much to break it.

Check your oil filter when you change the oil. You may have a lot of uninvited guests. Cut it open and see who is not on the guest list.

Wow...that is some nasty stuff. It looks like your filter did a good job catching the gunk and keeping the oil fairly clear. What filter did you use?

I can't believe this is yet another ARX thread where people post AFTER pics of their oil filters and then ASSUME that ARX mustbe working great! Now I'm a satisfied ARX user, but c'mon people! With all the intelligence about automotive maintenance on this board, I'd think someone would point out that you need to compare the post-ARX oil filter to an oil filter BEFORE you used ARX to see if it actually did anything. Pretty simple!
I think it's harder to gauge the visable signs of cleaning on a deisel because the oil gets so dirty so fast, but I think if someone changes their own oil and knows approximately how fast the oil "appears" darker on average, it is easy to see that Autorx is working. Yeah, it's not as exact as what you recommended or even seeing under the valve covers, but it works for me. When I go 5k miles on an oil change and I see that my oil tends to get dark not until the 4k mile mark...I know when I see Autorx treated oil getting dark at 400 miles that it is cleaning gunk/sludge. The oil is amber for the first 100 or so then it just goes black if you have a dirty engine fairly quickly. All ya'll experts can say what you will, but it works for me.
