11.2 cst vs 11.7 cst

Im courious if .5 cst @ 100C is that much of a difference in oil thickness? I was looking up amsoils website and im debating whether i should stick with the series 3K (11.7 cst) or use series 2K (11.2 cst)? Im courious if the series 2K will help with gas milage at all. The series 3K hasnt gained or droped my gas milage. Thanks.

The Amsoil S2K is a friction modified oil. Super slippery. I was using the Amsoil 5w30 & Amsoil 10w30 and the first thing I notice was how quickly it turned over. Very silent also.

I got about a 1-1.5 MPG increase. That is why I started using the TSO because of the MGP increase.

I also noticed that TSO will cool down the hot oil very quickly.

0.5 cst is probably in the range of "noise", i.e., not significant.
