In case you don't believe the

Looks like an alignment shim
That’s what we were thinking or a piece of some sort of bracket. But when we sent the car out it wasn’t in there the lady made it to the end of the street and made a u-turn to come back and by the time she was back the tire was flatter than a pancake. We think it’s something the trash truck may have dropped or the guy who comes and picks up our old parts.

Fast Food restaurants are pretty much no longer open on Saturday evenings where I live because of the worker shortage.

“Worker shortage” should be changed to say “a shortage of people that want to work”.
We have some businesses around here going through the same situation. It’s everywhere I suppose.
My Son-in-law’s step-Dad owns the oldest furniture store in town and it stays busy all the time. He has openings for delivery people and he pays very well, I mean way more than a good living wage around here,…nobody’s applying.

Got my custom fire pit set up last evening. Now when building supply prices cool off a bit, I’ll be on to the deck off of my new addition.
The panels cut out from pics of my dogs that are sadly no longer with us were glowing nice and bright. I sure wish that they could be there lounging by the fire with us. Cheers! 🍻

True that … I mentioned in another thread that I have seen the same 2 ladies at McD for years … They can’t be making much … but hey … they work …
What I get is normally around $7 … so started handing her a $10 and pulling away … They are pleasant folks too …

Free tires for you, less than 1/2 worn !
Yeah three of them lol. They would not allow us to patch the flat one the boss felt the hole was too big. Plus we had to pay for the one that was flat since it was in our parking lot so the rental company only paid for 3 of them. We try to make the best customer relations that we can so they just covered the tire.

Wages have to be increased to a living wage for people to be able to work and have a good life, but it always comes back to raising wages will also raise the cost of everything and even cost jobs. It's always a catch 22 situation.
I sure wish that I had all of the answers, but I'm not entirely sure that anyone does. I do know that "free" money is never the answer, everything has a price to pay in one way or another and we are witness to one of the many prices to pay right now.

They are nice! Easy to clean and after a period of time, I'll clean it real good and put another coat of high heat paint on it. Hopefully it lasts a long time doing this. I imagine sitting around it in the cool Fall and winter days will be nice as the panels seem to put off some nice heat. Surprisingly the foot rest stayed cool to the touch which was nice.
