Me and a friends rides when we were 16. Mine was the Olds, his the Ranger. He passed away way too early this week and was going through some photos...

Sweet little Neon with the power bulge hood means DOHC. Redline 7000 rpm and a blast to drive with 5 speed manual if so equipped probably blew the doors off the hinges on the Olds.

To Zee09: I don't know if now's the right time to compliment on your new Mitsu. But, CONGRATULATIONS
I know people discount these cars as the dealership network is weak here in the US.
Are all the Mitsubishi dealerships closing? What do you feel about that (vanishing brand)?

My friends had 3 of those in a row. A 2011, 2015 and 2017 I think.
Two had the 4 cyl. and the last one was a GT with the V6. I only ever drove the 2011 and it was just fine.
The 2011 got sold to other people and at ~125K I did a pan drop and filter change on the CVT.
One snot sized bit of metal was all that was in the stainless steel filter. IOW it didn't need to be changed.
The GT was the only way to get paddle shifters that year; I was told.
edit: My friend guessed the heavier V6 caused the GT to go out of alignment all the time he owned it. Just passin' it on.

They opted for a 2017 Jeep GC because they felt it could tow a light pop-up better.
Best of luck with it.

Thank you Kira.
I bought it with no negotiation for $19,465 and the retail was $28k.
In these times I could not believe the deal on a LE 4wd with options.
Came with carpet and all weather mats and trunk cover and net etc.

As stated I had my 2014 just up until recently and my moms 14 who passed last year. I bought it for her and she absolutely loved it.

We liked them because we used them and they had a great warranty and my dealer is 10 miles away.

I had no idea how much they transformed these. Forget the videos I have no cvt drone like the 14 model. The old agricultural 2 L is silky smooth now. Very quiet and I'm still put back on how nice it is.

I bought it as a run about but now its too nice to dismiss. The headlights are fantastic. The auto high beams are great and the new safety features. It is so refined that it is really a far nicer vehicle than its predecessor's.

Mitsubishi ain't going nowhere.
Here the new Outlander is a huge hit. I drove several and they are a game changer.

I wish I could have given this one to my mother. She would have loved it.
I bought it out of need and nostalgia plus I have all the maintenance stuff for it. These are so easy to work on and no ramps required and that is also one of the reasons I bought it.

I even paid the dealership in full and they did not care either way. They did not try to raise the cost in anyway. This is going to be my vacation car. Even the ride is much improved. Thanks Jim

Why don't you tell us all what caused this Tirade of yours last night.
You did not receive a PM from me or even a written comment to your post or posts.
So please tell the mods and the rest of us here how you were bullied and maybe they can understand
last nights activities.... If action needs to be taken I'm sure they need to know how to proceed.

To be clear and explain my side I liked this post below of yours with a laugh and so did Tyman for which you attacked as well
on the next post. Other than many months ago on your eating liver post I had no contact with you whatsoever.
None-Zero. Feel free to clarify your actions. All postings still remain here.

I just think you have too much time on your hands and that's all I have to say.
This is your playground and you act like a toddler here IMHO
Gorgeous cat

"I wish I could have given this one to my mother."
Give it to me.
Did the $19,465 include the usual paperwork fees?
Yes it did. These people played no games. Im in it now and everything is far better but the turn signal stalk feels lighter weight and less of a click and more of a clunk. Only complaint but hey it ain't nothing.

A shirt my parents got me as a surprise for getting a new job. I got another dealership job. This particular dealership sells pretty much every brand because they have a franchise for each one. Starting out I work on everything then I get to pick a brand to work for which is probably going to be Subaru, Ford or Toyota. Also my dad is buying me a new toolbox and he bought me some tools today at the pawn shop. I walked in for the interview and was hired on the spot said I was the most qualified candidate they have had apply for the position.

Did you tell them you knew me? 😂😂😜😀

Congratulations....

I needed a car for work in the wilds of western Connecticut. I was 23.
Selling that car immediately upon returning to the city stands as the smartest car thing I've ever done.
