Another beauty shot of the Darlington turbine hall:
View attachment 49157

Big red (#1) is offline right now for maintenance after its record run, #2 (yellow) is freshly refurbished and back in action, #3 (green) is currently being refurbished. These four units produce ~26TWh a year while total power consumption for a country like Denmark is ~33TWh.
Is the alternator the smaller round thing as seen on the green unit or the Blue unit close to the edge of the photo.

The stator assembly is what you are seeing coming toward the camera off the back of Unit 3 (green) correct. You can't quite see it on Unit 4. Here's the new stator for Unit 3 (amusingly, the unit you commented on) coming on a barge from Poland:

I'm not sure why it is being replaced exactly, Unit 2, which was just refurbished, is still on its original one.

Cool New York plates. New York plates are usually hard to get because they will suspend your license there if you fail to turn them in but these were basically phased out and they basically said do whatever you want with them.

This one I got from someone on another forum to help me get closer to 50 States. I still have many more to post as well this is just a small amount of them.
