Few class 8 semis come new with a manual transmission today. You can get one in a Peterbilt 389 I'm guessing. I don't know if you can get a class 6 truck with a manual anymore.

Typical automatic in a Class 6-7 truck would be an Allison torque converter automatic but this one has an Eaton Procision 7 speed DCT automated manual transmission. Kept calling this transmission an autoshift because of it's computerized clutch engaging and shift behavior and the many times I was cursing at it.
