Let's beat this horse some more, which Mobil 1 products carry HTO-06 approvals?
From Mobil’s own resources/documentation:
Among the common Mobil 1 oils I checked, none of them explicitly list HTO-06 in their published specs:
OR is this HONDA Spec to old and doesn't matter any longer??? Sorry, answering my own question here, yes, older spec, API SP oils are far more demanding than what HTO-06 required back in 2007. Most high-quality synthetic 5W-30 oils that carry SP (and ILSAC GF-6) now easily surpass the conditions HTO-06 was designed for.

Mobil 1 Oils with HTO-06 Approvals
From Mobil’s own resources/documentation:- Mobil 1 5W‑30 (Advanced / Full Synthetic) — This oil explicitly lists “HONDA/ACURA HTO-06” in its approvals.
- Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5W‑30 — The product page shows “HONDA/ACURA HTO-06” among its builder approvals.
Mobil 1 Oils That Do Not Have Approvals
Among the common Mobil 1 oils I checked, none of them explicitly list HTO-06 in their published specs:- Mobil 1 0W‑20 Advanced Fuel Economy — No public listing of HTO-06 approval in Mobil’s guide for 0W-20.
- Mobil 1 ESP X2 0W‑20 — ESP lines focus on low-SAPS/emissions protection; I found no indication of HTO-06 in the published spec sheets.
- Mobil 1 High Mileage 5W‑30 — I did not see HTO-06 listed in the public specs.
- Mobil 1 0W‑30 Advanced Fuel Economy, Mobil 1 0W‑40, and others likewise lack public documentation of HTO-06.
