Hello. I recently purchased an 08 Toyota Tundra with the 5.7 L engine and it has 206,000 miles on it. I am going thru and changing all the fluids, plugs, pcv valve, filters, etc. I changed the pcv valve that was full of oil and not working and also did a seafoam engine spray top end cleaner when I cleaned the throttle body. Now it’s making an unusual tick that comes and goes. If you listen, you’ll hear what sounds like a rhythmic rattle that comes and goes bore the normal sound of the engine. What might this sound be? I have not changed the spark plugs yet, that will be later this week. I do not currently have any check engine lights and the truck seems to run fine. Thanks in advance for the assistance.
