Just purchased 2 cases of 07 GC made in Germany at AZ in Tupelo Ms. Originally bought stores last stash and this has been on order for a month. Maybe there is hope after all for GC.

i saw some 07 GC in charlotte, nc had the "European Formula" on the front w/ red 0w30 and said Made In Germany on the back...
Yup...every autozone i go to in NC has plenty of GC in stock..They are always full of M07 GC...I guess i take it for granted because i hear about people not being able to find it anywhere..but yet i can find it at any AZ i go too.
just went to my local autozone in greensboro (rents live in charlotte, work in greensboro (co-op) and go to college in raleigh) all of them have had GC M07, last few weeks one in greensboro had none and i go in today to get some gear oil and BOOM M07 GC w/ the red 0w30 and European formula...i never used it in my GTI MKV,

Thanks for the information. I was at a conference in Biloxi on the 18th and stopped by the 49 store. The rep. was super busy and said that they would have some. I hate now that I did not make it by on my way home a few days later.
I doubt the M07 is green. Green stopped after M0501.
M07 is also available in Southern California. I just picked up six quarts today. It is on sale for about $4.50/quart.
It amazes me that this oil is so hard to find up North, with many AutoZones choosing to discontinue it (according to our fellow BITOGers).

yea thats what i would think too..but it doesent appear to be that way..Like i said earlier..i've never been to an autozone that doesent have plenty of GC in stock...
GC is alive and well in SC. I guess that makes my stashing of it a moot point since the shelves are full of M07 right now. 3 store managers say it's still a regular stock item (no "sellthrough" on any computer here) and one of them said it was their best selling Syntec (!). Thought I had an upper hand since ALL of the AZs in Northern VA have sold out and will not be getting anymore. Oh well, its still a win/win I suppose. I look at it as a hedge against future price increases

Just picked up about 9qts today, had to snuck myself into the back and grabbed a case off the shipping pallette.

We have GC stamped 07 in Altoona PA. None of the other autozones within 100 miles carry it anymore but the one in Altoona does.
OK, how 'bout Texas, anybody find some Texas AZ's with it(preferrably in Houston). I'm GC depraved....
Of the 3 AZ stores in Stockton, only 1 had some 07 at $4.49 a qt. I bought everyone they had(all 12qts). I guess not all AZ stores stock it any more.
