Disclaimer: I'm not an oil expert but am learning!

Looks like normal break-in wear. Copper is high but that is typical, especially with a high-perf turbocharged/intercooled engine like yours during the break-in period. What type of oils and viscosities are we talking about here? Please give us more info. I'm sure some of the more learned "gurus" will add their expertise.
From what I see, things are looking good thus far.
Nice car.

First of all,

Echoing what a4tdi says above, please let us know what oil you ran during the 7,500KM interval.

If you're interested in comparing results, here's the first UOA on my '05 STi:

^^^ the oil was a 5w30 bulk oil. Sorry about the confusing post, the other boards I use have wysiwyg editor. I've had 3 oil changes on the car 1000km, 3000km and 7500km so the last OCI was 4500km. I think that's about as far as I would go on a conventional oil of unknown origin

The car also started using the oil toward the end of the 4500km, it was down 1/2 a quart or so. This was by no means scientific as the dip sticks on these cars are horrible. The next change @ 12,000km will be synthetic and I will push the OCI to 7500km (brand to be determined, any suggestions?)

Thanks for clarifying.

I'm going to try the "German Castrol" 0w-30 when I make the switch over to synthetic at 10,000 miles. I've also got some Mobil-1 0w-40 to use up, so I may run that in the STi as well.
