Drained factory fill at 750 miles.
Mobile 5000 & M1 filter for 770 miles.
Schaffers 5W30 SL GF-3 & M1 filter (current analysis).
Remarks:Suspect sodium left from run of Mobil 5000. Truck is driven 20 miles one way to work,7 highway,13 city. Plus a couple of 150 mile road trips during this OCI. Fuel Power and Shell 87 octane gas 80% of the time. Awaiting Terry's analysis. Comments welcome.

sully, This UOA is absoulutely worthless!!! What are thinking doing a UOA on a vechile with less then 20,000 miles on it? It is so full of accelerated wear that it is going to take it at least 50,000 miles to settle down!!!

The above was meant as a joke!!! It looks great and will lock even better as it continues to wear and settle down a bit more. In solubles were a little high for 3010 miles so keep an eye on it if you try to extend the OCI out farther.

I'm satisfied, wear metals are pretty good for this mileage. Filled back up with Schaeffers and 5.5 ounces of Lube Control. I'll extend this OCI to 4000 and retest. The only thing that stood out were the insolubles. Hopefully those will come down with mileage and the LC. Looking forward to Terry's comments.

Extend your oil drain interval to the max allowed by your warranty and retest. After that one, test at the warranty mileage but leave the oil in...it'll be good for double that mileage at least.
