I see no harm in running this extended cleaning phase run Sprintman. This is noted in that you have already done a good clean and rinse on the beamer previously. I would not recommend running this interval on the first go around however.

With all the junk coming out of my engine, and I have been good about changing the oil in the past (before BITOG), I would NOT run my first Clean and Rinse cycle longer than what the directions call for.

I can see how some would feel that an "extended clean" followed by an "extended rinse" would be good. But not as your FIRST clean and rinse, and definately not as your SECOND if your First Rinse cycle was loaded with junk like mine was.

I'm considering running another Clean and Rinse after my 2nd round is done. I will see how much stuff this Clean and Rinse loosen up before I decide on wether or not I need a 3rd.

This stuff is really great stuff, it does exactly what it advertises. Do it justice and get the stuff it loosens up out of there by changing that cheap dino.

Edited to add: How many people run extended intervals with full Auto RX Rinse and Clean phases? Not the Maintenance dose, but the Full bottle.

Once you have gotten to the point where you won't be blinding filters during either the clean or rinse phase, I would say that extended drains surely can be run. Then again if you are already that clean internally, then a 3 or 4 fluid ounce maintenance dose over the extended drain interval would likely be the way to go.
