I know it's not a big deal turning over 100k to most but in my family and for this car it is. Mostly since no one but us keeps them past 75k. My sister bought it back in 03 with 32k miles and I've maintained it over the years. The only expensive repair was the AC this year at almost $1k.. the only other items that wouldn't consider wear items was the EGR tube, coil and temp sensor for the fan which I replaced myself and less than $80 for all the parts combined. I've ran Pennzoil Platinum 5w20 at 10k/1 year intervals and a "normal" maintenance schedule on all the other fluids. Still handles and rides like a cadillac IMO, only alot cheaper! Not a quick car by any means though.
This car up till last fall set 80% of the time from 2007 to 2011 due to my sister's illness, most likely reason for the parts replacement above. When she passed my parents practically forced me to take it. I can't blame them sometimes it feels like she could be in the car with me. I was thinking about putting a updated head on it as the stock heads tend to lose valve seats but I may just drive it till it dies. I think that's what she do and not waste money on it.. we'll see.
