Yes. I have an 01 Eclipse myself and had to replace these because they were rattling they were so loose. They extend from the sway bar ends and attach about midway up the strut tower. Fairly easy to change yourself if you are physically able.

Yes.
This is a common repair.
It is easy to do it yourself.
Parts are $20 or so for the average car. Do both sides.

BTW, t is often easier to cut the old links off than to do battle with removing rusted parts.

ya done a few on older cars that were called swaybars this is the first I heard it called stabilizer bar Thank you mechtech2 & NP_350

So Menter Mistubishi claimed one swaybar end link was broke other was real loose WRONG pulled both tires to replace them and they are in good shape $170 charge to change these simple things out that didnt need it.(Thanks for letting me vent a bit) Its my sisters car so I'm glad she called me first. Now I'm changing acc drive belts on it Need to replace Idler pulley but she is waiting on that Got belts off (what a job) Do I need to pull inner wheelwell plastic to get these back on? And how do I get the idler pulley off, Pull the hole bracket w/power steering or what?

On many newer cars where the link resembles 2 tie rod ends, new links can be much more expensive.

On my Saturn ION, I paid $40 per side for MOOG.
On my dad's Pontiac G6, he paid $50 for NAPA premium.

That, and those newer design links are more failure prone.

yes the end links she got was the type you would find on a 69 Camaro or something like that (The old type) and they were the wrong ones good thing she didnt need them yet Stealership tried to pull one over on my sis Glad I taught her not to trust them Plus they wanted #170 to change them out (4 nuts) Thats Menter Mistubishi if you wondered
