The transmission had what dodge specs, atf+4, would the fluid now be "contaminated"? The system has 14 quarts total and two quarts were added. Are these two fluids that much different?
What would be the best thing to remove this it is everywhere the wheels cooul throw it. It is very thick and hard in some places, with lots of sand. I do have kerosene available.
i have used these for years and it definately keeps a paper filter cleaner longer. it has to be a stretch fit on the filter. they are easily cleaned also.
i heard this again at a family get together, do armorall, etc. and other treatments do this and if so what is the ingredient to avoid or look for in the good ones ?
i have an a/t in my ford and under load or going up a hill prior to it downshifting there is a rumbleing that goes away right after the shift or if i manually do it by turning off the o/d. any similar cases with expedition or f-150?
does anyone use a needle to lube these sealed boots? if so what is reccomended? I know when you put a new one in they specify a certain quantity of grease
where are they and does mtd have a good web site. i just bought this used and want to go thru whole thing. it appears to be 8 yrs. old with 8hp tecunseh. can any body help? thanks
