The ‘23 doesn’t have the ZF transmission seemingly riddled with issues. It does have some odd spec transmission fluid Honda doesn’t like to release metrics for so we can go to good aftermarket options (HPL). Also, it’s not a cvt transmission. HTH
Lastly, yes - the level check for the fluid imo...
Yikes. That one is toast! Is there an UNI oiled filter you could run? I ask because I'm currently running one in my mule that's been great compared to the smaller OEM setup that's dry media. The UNI is a larger surface area and barely fits in the airbox. Definitely lowers resistance in...
Sorry for second post, but great point! They also have to contend with the fact that the general public by and large hardly ever even check their oil level, let alone change it themselves. I can’t tell you the amount of people I work with who are purported to be “smart” who don’t know what...
That looks awesome! NThis should've been an option from the factory IMO. I remember the trans fluid pan drop being a PIA last time I did it on my f150. Nice work all around!
It's the same Amsoil Ea15k13 mentioned/pictured in post #45 above

I enjoy the inverse mounted or laterally mounted filters and all the spills that happen when trying to prime them before installing. It's a sweet joy of making even more of a mess than you're already dealing with.
answer is running per mythbusters episode I saw years ago. You want to not get as wet? walking apparently is the answer....though I'm sure there's rain volumes that render this finding moot.
It would be cool if ordering an EaO filter in some of the smaller sizes was an option. I’ve given up on trying f to get a Donaldson high end small filter for the applications I have to cover.
(facepalm)
gotcha. I thought this was NOT an issue with Amsoil filters...clearly I was mistaken! so next time, get a flashlight oily and shine light below via the center tube and see if I can see "daylight" with the spring still in position?
