Looking for long version of a ph2, 22x1.5mm thread oil filter.

PH10590 or CQP 95157 with 32psi bypass. Longer, but some sacrifice in diameter. Longer than the PH10575 with a bypass of 22psi. Personally, I run the 95157 on LS, 3.6 and Ecotec 2.5 motors with no issues. But, that's just me.

    CarQuest Premium 95157 C&P

Dissected a CQP 95157 Made in Vietnam with 32psi bypass that I was using on my 2015 Chevrolet Malibu 2.5. In use for 2,000km as a cleanup change with Quaker State Ultimate Durability 10W30. New of the same filter went back on with VRP 5W30.

    Ecogard X2500-B

They'll fit. I run larger filters than those (Carquest Premium 95157) on my Malibu 2.5 without issue.

    Pennzoil - Low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI) Q&A

In comparison of API SN+, SP and incoming SQ, what changes in the formulation have taken place to combat LSPI and what is the overall reduction goal in LSPI with SQ over SP?

$100,000 here before fees and taxes. With such a low range and excruciatingly high cost for "nostalgia," I will pass.

    New Purolator Gold Filters

These remind me of the OG Fram Pro Synthetic (FPS) series of by-gone days. Purolator's have less metallic flake and are worse in every other way. I miss those filters. Edit: Added a couple additional pictures of old.

Fram Ultra / Endurance Users - Move On to What ?

I was exclusively using the OG Fram Ultra's in the form of the Pro Synthetic FPS series for canister, but sold them all off for a profit a couple years back. Still have about a dozen OG XG9972 for the 2GR engines in the fleet. As a replacement for the FPS Pro Syn, I ordered up countless Vietnam...

One of my other vehicles (2019 Hyundai Kona Nu) needs the VRP more long term since I will be swapping the motor in a couple of weeks myself with an ultra low kilometer motor (not getting into the legal about Hyundai, but action is in place) and I feel that the VRP did its job based on the oil...

I love the snow but ... Kinda done with it

This winter has been a challenge for us in The Great White North. Usually I run my 358cc 10.5hp 29" Craftsman for most winter cleanups, but we have just been slammed and fired up the old Craftsman 45" 13hp since the first snow squalls and have not looked back all winter. I forget how much we...

Tire options. What would you go for?

Phenomenal experience with the Kumho Ecsta PA51 in 225/55/17 on Kona AWD. Wear well, quiet and confident in dry and wet weather. No experience with slush, snow or ice, as they are a summer only. Outfit my vehicles entirely with Kumho rubber. [Not sponsored by or invested in Kumho]
